Are the cars that are on the forecourt at skoda dealerships actually skoda uk cars being sold on their behalf's or are they the dealerships cars?

Is it possible to get a used car transferred between dealership which are not the same franchise

Might be an idea to ask at the dealership,

they might know as it is their business!

(remember though, you know a salesperson might well by fibbing, the clue will be their lips move)

Most of the time the cars on the forecourt belong to the dealers.

The only way to get a car swapped is if your local dealer has a car that the other dealer which has the car you want, wants to swap. if you understand.

Normally they will try and source a car for you.

How far away is the dealer with the car you want to buy? might be worth a trip.

Smart unnecessary comments really do annoy me D***!!

It doesn't matter any more but just out of curiosity, and the car was 230miles away haha but yes i understand what your saying was just browsing on skoda used cars

My local dealer has quite a few Sale or Return cars from Skoda HQ

I would think there Ex pool cars

6 month old, low milage,

Forums are good and can be a great assistance,

but in the time you took to post, you could have got the answer from the horses mouth.

'Many posts that could get an answer that gives the right answer to the question with a simple phone call annoys me.'

Maybe get the answer or information and maybe post something like.

'Do you know i asked a Dealership about getting a vehicle transfered etc etc

several hours after you posted the question, do we know the actual answer yet about the particular forecourt & dealership you were interested in?

Helpful dealer will happily trade cars between each other if a customer wants it and that dealer has something they are intrested in, my dads a headsalesman at a vw garage and iv heard him talk about garages car swapping to help each other out so yeah they should be able todo that

Also they may have unallocated cars lieng in the docks/ storage places that they can acess for you

Yeah i believe with new cars they can just ask the delears if they can have the car to sell, as thats what i may be doing
