Want to simplify the vacuum system as I think some of you have already done but where can I get some bungs/caps to cover the unused ports on the underside of the inlet manifold? Don't really want to use a piece of hose with a bolt in the end and I'm sure I saw someone who had used rubber caps or similar. Any ideas?

A few people use CNC laved pieces of metal from draft 42.

Not sure which would be the correct size for the vacuum connections under the inlet manifold though. Anybody know or do I need to have a check myself first?

Had a quick measure of the old hose that came off and have gone for these 6mm caps.

I used a bolt and a jubilee clip - I felt that was suitable for my oil burning device :-)

Do you remember what size the yellow one is? I shall probably use a jubilee clip on mine, just to be extra sure.

best too use a jubilee, as the manifold can be under vacuum or boost depending on how engine is being driven
