Cabin pollen filter on 2008 Octavia

Featured Replies

Anyone got ideas how to change pollen filter please,i removed cover under glove box,but now puzzled lots of nasty plastic ?

thanks if anyone can help !

Once you've removed the flexible foam/plastic cover that's held on with two wide plastic screws there's a long thin hard plastic cover that needs sliding sideways, and then it'll come loose and you'll be able to slide the filter down and out.

Be warned though, there's a good chance the pollen filter housing will be chock-full of dead leaves and debris so I'd advise you to put a cloth down in the footwell before you open the cover!

I just changed mine. I kept the hoover nearby just in case. As it happened some broken bits of leaves and what looked like seeds or pods (?) fell down into the footwell.
