Out of interest, has anyone done a standing quarter in a 1.2TSi? My two seem quite 'eager', compared to the modest output. Then again being forced induction maybe it's just the low-end torque that's deceptive. I'd also love to know how to get it off the line more quickly, as I almost always find a c.1s delay before getting any real shove as the DSG seems to want to engage the clutch at very low RPM.

Cheeky! its only 6 mph off. Bring on the Supercharger. Either that or I bring the remapped Superb and see what it can do (assuming we still have it!)

Just had a wee play on Forza 4 1/4 mile with the Polo GTI and Seat Ibiza Cupra (there is no Skoda so can't use the Fabia vRS!)

Below are the best runs for each car with differing mods/weights/tyres etc - a good test as its quite accurate even for a game.

Polo GTI 234bhp - 234lb/ft - 1118kg

Top Gear Track 60 degrees F - 14.515 105mph

Test Track 72 degrees F - 14.314 104mph

Seat Ibiza Cupra 241bhp - 239lb/ft - 1037kg

Top Gear Track 60 degrees F - 14.398 105mph

Test Track 72 degrees F - 14.231 105mph

Then I added some more mods and weight loss and drag specific tyres...

Polo GTI 251bhp - 261lb/ft - 973kg

Top Gear Track 60 degrees F - 13.497 110mph

Test Track 72 degrees F - 13.313 110mph

Sedona Raceway 94 degrees F - 13.380 110mph

Seat Ibiza Cupra 248bhp - 258lb/ft - 961kg

Need to give you a race on forza tonight if im on to see what my cupra and gti can do

I know i messaged him and he was adament it was a true figure. He also said it was dynod at amd which says it all really. According to their rollers an st150 with an induction kit and exhaust (no map) made 188 bhp. Laughable at best

Some have air filter/exhuast and bigger turbo. Whilst the other have race exhaust/turbo/air filter and ignition
