Thought i would ask this in a seperate thread. I was wondering when i put the second hand airbag controller in if i had to do anything specific?

Do i need to get codes from the old one?

Can VCDS re-code it (free version)?

Also does it matter if my car has twin airbags and the car i am getting the controller from only has 1? Because after looking on ebay it seems that one module is used for a whole variety of makes and models
