Lambda Sensor

Featured Replies

Could anyone tell the diifference between C an E suffix sensors please?

there is a huge price diffence to the later type and some aftermarket ones seem universal.

i have fitted one which seems to be not working at all.

many thanks

martin

Why do you think yours is not working at all?

all other readings are ok but lambda is 1.08 on average acroos the range. also it remains at this even with the sensor disconnected. i think other readings would be adrift if the cat was gone.

that is why

i am keen to know the difference between the sensors really.

there is a big price difference unless you buy a universal type

What specific part numbers are you talking about? I think you'd need to fit the correct one for the car - which one is specced for it? When you say you've fitted one that doesn't work, do you mean you've just fitted a new one? There's quite a bit of info missing in your post (hence the questions), without it all, it's difficult to give any worthwhile advice.
