Have a Pure Highway in glovebox and just use FM transmiiter part with window aerial. Works fine with MFD1 DX as only listen to Planet rock.

Newer updated Highway 300di looks good but a bit expensive.

Fitting a cinch as remove front window pillar cover to hide aerial wire

I have fitted a JVC DAB player but fixed the aerial through the roof above the interior light

Heya.

Just fitted a JVC single disc CD player / DAB radio unit in my Octy VRS.

Simple fit if you're happy with the original speakers etc.

I just removed the stock unit, bought an adaptor plug which allows you to simply plug an aftermarket stereo into the Skoda's wiring harness, plugged the new unit in and replaced it in the dash using the aftermarket cage.

The DAB aerial is a self-adhesive unit that sticks to the inside of the screen, with a small plastic box in the middle and two thin wires coming out top and bottom which have their own, thin clear self - adhesive strips. So you end up with a unit stuck to the left-side of the screen by the A pillar.

It's simple to remove the A pillar trim and run the aerial lead down the pillar and behind / below the glove box over to the stereo.

The aerial is a 'powered' unit, so have to make sure to switch on the 'aerial power' on/off selection within the Stereo's Menu settings. Otherwise DAB doesn't work too well.

My unit is 6 years old now and has been in a few different cars - works perfectly in my Skoda - never have any problems with signal drop outs or anything.

Planet Rock all the way when driving!

Hope this helps.
