So the deal,

I'll package up the ashtry, with a few beer tokens & send recorded delivery to whoever is willing to fix it, will also send in the package money for you to return item to me built back up?

Sounds mento but having no ashtry makes the car look stupid & ive not got the Patience to do it

The wee pin and spring have came out. Was trying to change the lid, from the poverty spec to the vRS carbon type. But failed & can't get it together

its easy but fiddly all you should need is some wire nosed pliers and maybe a little screwdriver for the final push

If someone on here can take theirs out and get a quick photo of theirs with the spring in place it should help you with yours. I had some photos somewhere of mine which I can dig out, I had to take mine apart when I fitted the Liquid Gauge and I remember the spring was a bit of a pig to get back on, I used needle nosed pliers in the end.
