Miltek exhuast mk1 vRS

Featured Replies

Fancy a new zaust for my vRS; bog standard aside a K&n panel. Looked at the Miltek turbo back with sports cat(resonated as its my daily) any reviews on them? or any other ones to consider?

Do a search in the Octavia I forum, most people had either Milltek or Blueflame on there a few years back so plenty of threads about them

The other option is Piper

I have Milltek cat back non resonated system on mine and its not loud, not boy racer loud at all well not until you open taps then it growls like mad

eurocarparts.com do jetex res and non res stainless cat back systems.

I had a jetex on my volvo, nice system and nice fit but it just rusted like mad even though it was stainless,

Have a non res miltek on my vrs I bought second hand off a member on here, took some messing to fit but seems better grade stainless

not sure if there is much difference between the Milltek on the Mk1 compared to the Mk2, but my non resonated Milltek on my Mk2 is very quiet. Well it seems in from inside the car at least.

Turbo back non res are still quiet On the miltek lol

I have a Jetex also, its a nice deep roar & not boy racer sounding. Go on you tube & listen to some off the after market exhausts. See what sounds nice to your liking.

do you want it for noise or looks?

I just wanted looks so came up with an ingenious plan!

cut the standard tip off and weld twin pipes on!

£72 all in :D
