any hints or tips on how to go about painting/fitting it would be rather helpful :giggle:

ooh, and where would you chaps recommend i buy a decent primer /paint/ aftercoat etc ?

For the price, well worth ago!

If your painting it yourself in the garage or somthing just make sure the area is all clean and maybe clean the floor with a wet mop first to stop dust blowing about.

Fitting, maybe mark up the boot first, get some decent bonding glue... ive used ct1 sealant & sticks like **** in the past with no problems but obviously there is a correct bonding to buy. Get some good tape to hold it in place while the glue goes hard as well.

For everything i've spray painted... I've always used halfords paints, plastic primer etc... i get trade discount so its cheaper for me as well, never had any problems with it and the colour match has always been good.

cheers for the reply mate!

for £13 even if it goes tits up its not that much of an issue!!

will have a look around for that ct1 sealant if i cant find any oem adhesive etc.

Not often i go near Halfords paint as i cant stand the place, its all very over priced (IMO) i like to hit B&Q for rattle cans.. *Craft primer, *Universal gloss/matt/satin etc.. and lacquer (whatever is cheapest)

Obvisiously ensure they are for plastics. I would definitely say that the Universal* stuff is worth getting, used it on my wheels and it sprays alot more even.

Hope ive helped!
