Anyone running the SFS boost hose replacement kit?

My standard pipes are all bodged together at the minute, and I don't really fancy spending all that dosh on replacing with standards for them to simply wear again.

I figured I may as well spend a bit more and get the SFS kit while I'm at it.

What are your thoughts on it?

Any drawbacks or rubbing issues?

I've been told they rub quite bad, TrevorB33 had the kit and ended up getting the centre chopped out and replaced with a stainless pipe much like the vRS Dovit pipe some people have. i got some and it came with a ally pipe and 3 silicone bends, looks like they changed the design, either way mine dont rub!!

matt, have you got a link to the place you got yours from?

Yeah have you got a pic of what it looks like fitted too?

How much did it cost you to buy the parts mate if you don't mind me asking PM if you want

i got mine from halfords when i worked there so i got discount, but im sure they were the cheapest i found anyway, £120 ish iirc,

plus pics of the tops fitted

Ring SFS and they now do a hardpipe kit as they call it. Matt, any chance of sorting me the kit out for that price

I was under the impression that it was entirely silicone?

I love that hard pipe kit I might have to snap one up if there like that

Its a lot of money IMHO.

I have done the top with a "VRS Dovitt" Pipe.

Just need to do the lower pipe now!

it did start off as one piece silicone, but that lasted about 3days before it rubbed through, hence the change of design as i went to sfs head office and they modified the kit on my car, and thats the one they sell now,
