Was going to go with the tinted clear ones but liked the reflector ones more, as you wouldn't have been able to see the tinted ones on the black strip.

I know it's not everyone's cuppa' tea but let us know your opinions!?

Not sure, I think along with the wind deflectors they make the car look older than it is, kind of like an early 90s jap car or something?

Rest of the car looks lovely though

mmmm,

looks like a Volvo.

rims and grill look ace tho mate

I dont know what I am supposed to be looking at.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the us spec'd reflectors go upwards on the arches, and i like them for some reason when im over there and see all euro cars with them

Not too sure on the orange to be honest,I have clear ones in mine that I then got a friend to add a smoke tint to them as I thought the smoked ones you can buy seemed too dark but if you prefer the orange then it's all good :)

I've got 2 pairs of smoked ones from america to get off a m8, cost £20 for both pairs. Can't tell by the angle of your pics but the Golf ones follow the bumper trim.

@dsmithmobile how did you wire it up? We're yours genuine parts located same as mine as I'd prefer not to drill the bumper

Yeah they are the genuine ones that follow the bumper will get a pic up later

Look a little uncomfortably large for where they are fitted IMO.

Chicken's right tho', rest of the car looks the biz!

I just got a couple of sidelight holders out of a scrap car and extended the wires to the headlight and connected into the sidelight feed and earth but yes I did drill through the bumper and there not vw parts, mine are just aftermarket ones from hong kong, don't have really close up pics but here's a couple of mine

I know its an old thread, but ive just searched US spec as wanted to see a US Octavia, i think it looks bob on mate, what light units did you use?

I got mine off eBay,just have a look for golf/jetta bumper marker lights and you should find some, just search worldwide and get some from china if you can, they come in amber, clear and smoked.

The Octavia never sold in the US so you'll have to just look at one with the mk4 Golf bits in!

I'm not sure though....looks good sometimes but others a bit silly.
