Idle high and revs slow to drop when changing gear

Featured Replies

As the title says, today I noticed the skip has started misbehaving. After warmed up the idle speed is ranging from 1000-1300 rpm? Engine off and on and it drops back to 800ish till I start to drive again. Also noticed that when changing gear the revs are climbing slightly when i dip the clutch before dropping off. Do I start with a TB clean or am I looking at a possible throttle position sensor?

Checked for any fault codes?? What about breather pipes?

Not yet. Going training tonight so will be looking tomorrow and doing a TB clean to rule that out.

On top of all the other things that need looking at I think a match would be better :D

this is happening to me too , when driving and changing the gear revs go to 700 or low , and then after some seconds gets in normal again  , a look in TB looked dirty , tell me if the TB cleaning solved the problem

Does it do on both gas and petrol ?

Mine is a diesel
