Modified VRS performance comparison?

Featured Replies

Hi all, having owned my VRS for just over a couple of weeks I'm starting to get a bit more familiar with the car and performance.....Mine has hybrid stage 2 turbo, FMIC, Helix clutch etc etc etc etc etc.....custom remap due next month BUT I'm just interested to hear from those guys who track their Fabias, or have put them up against other cars on the 1/4 mile or motorway:

with the 200bhp plus VRS's what other cars can you compare the performance with, ie 0-60mph, 30-70-mph etc. Just asking out of interest really as I'm not likely to track my car, nor am I someone who races around.

Cheers

The car in 3rd (ROS53Y) is around 200bhp, maybe a little over.

It launches off the line well.

0-60mph they struggle due to being front wheel drive.

But once rolling the pick up is very good and the 30-70 times seems to put them in touch with much more expensive sports cars.

I've taken mine to Brands Hatch a couple of times and it's surprising what it'll keep up with and overtake. :)

Thanks for the above, link is interesting...ended up with the Fabia as a p/x for my mk1 Golf and some cash; I have to say I'm really impressed with the engine; only a standard remap at mo though so roll on next month

It is a custom jabba sport remap give them a call they will let you no. It's not a plug and play map.
