Flux Indecision ?

I've just got a fairly competitive quote from AF on my Felly. To be fair the renewal isn't right now but if they remain around this value nearer the time I'd have to give them serious consideration. Trouble is I've heard so many mixed views and would like to gauge a bit more opinion. The broker I'm with isn't great TBH and perhaps AF wouldn't be any worse? Unfortunately couldn't get any discount for Brisky membership. Any views/opinions most welcome & hopefully I won't have opened a can of worms!

i would not use AF again if they were the last company on earth... id rather take my chances!

They were shocking for my Felicia on renewal this year and when I changed to the Felicia from an Octavia VRS last year I actually had to pay MORE for the Felicia.

Gone with Aviva this year, £200 less than my AF renewal quote. AF couldn't find any insurers that could beat that.

I get the impression AF have always been geared towards modified and performance cars but if you don't have one of those you're better off with one of the other site sponsor brokers or an everyday car insurer.

If it's a good price now, take it. I got good quotes from AF a month before renewal, but when it came time to renew, guess what? It had gone up by £150 :wall:

^ Many thanks guys. Interestingly the lowest quote through AF is underwritten by Aviva. Funny old world!

I'll revisit a bit nearer the time and as Jigger72 says hope it hasn't sky rocketed!
