Golf R32 Alloy wheels

Featured Replies

Hoping someone can help with this one...

I have my eye on a rather nice set of R32 alloys...I'm wondering whether these will go on an Octy vRS?

The PCD of the vRS is 5x100

The PCD of the R32 is 5x112

So methinks they won't go on - however I was under the impression that the MKIV Golf takes PCD 5x100 wheels. Is it just that the R32 is a little bit special?

R32 wheels are 5 x 100 for the MK4 Golf, 100% sure of that.

That's what I was thinking - I was just going on the info from the Rochford Tyres website.

A set of genuine ones are on ebay at the moment

Yummy! I just saw them. I'm not sure why ROchford would say the R32 is a 5 x 112? You sure it wasn't just the mkV section you were looking at, as I know my Dad's Golf is 5 x 112?

In a similar vein, I'd fancy an R32 steering wheel. Anyone know if it fits the Fab vRS (with existing airbag etc)?

Yes the R32 steering wheel will fit on the Fab vRS, as I test fitted mine to Josh's.

We didnt clip the airbag into place but if its the same three spoke design (cant remember) then I cant see why it wouldnt fit.

Yes it's the normal 3 spoke airbag so the R32 wheel will fit.

Thanx Gary - it is a lovely wheel isn't it! Must get saving... You ought to put your Golf forward for a feature on VW Vortex.
