3 Yeti in one dealership!

Featured Replies

I had an hour or 2 spare on my way up to a place called the Sleaford Tech (or Cranditz) where I shall be for a day or 2 undergoing ritual humiliation :-)

So I put Wings of Peterborough in the iPhone GPS and found the Škoda dealership. It has 3 Yeti on show, including one white Urban; I didn't know that anyone organisation was allowed that many SMs to themselves!

Since the black one out front was a 170 with roof I asked if it was for sale. The answer came back, "yes". But not until September. Well since mine should be with me by then that was a waste of time . . .

But the salesman was a decent young chap with time to chat. Apparently each dealer has an Urban allocated, of around 750 units made so far (different from the 400 I had heard before). The chap said that it was very frustrating not to have been consulted on how many they might be able to shift.

It was good to sit in the Yeti: it refreshed my faith which is sorely tested by all the great cars out there.

No they've always stated there will be only 750 made. I need to go to a dealer then to see one!

I picked up my white urban on Saturday, she is lush! The salesman also told us that only 750 were being made and only available in the uk. They have been allocated just 5 urban's. Skoda are not going to go mad with advertising due to small numbers. Get one if you can, funny feeling they will hold their price well.

LOL, Wings is my local dealership and some of that info came from me after I enquired and they knew very little. That black one is fully spec'd up and is the thing that got me interested in yeti's in the first place - it looks very good indeed! Their Yeti is a diesel one incidentally, but I might pop down for a look. I really want ESP but I have a feeling the Urban is going to look very good.
