This has been bugging me for a few months now and I have not got my VCDS cable linked to my netbook yet so not read any codes.

Here are the symptoms.

2005 Elegance 1.9tdi Octavia.

After about 5 or 6 turns of the key (e.g starting and stopping) the radio will forget it was on CD changer and go back to radio, Also the Dual Zone climate control will forget it was set to Econ, legs and windscreen.

Sometimes as well I will have the heating on 21/22 degrees and passenger side will be blowing hot but the drivers will be blowing cold.

Is this the convenience control unit causing this error.,

any one??

Sometimes their are things that are dificult to explain.

On my dads Toyota Verso 2009, 90% of the time you press the button to start engine, the re-circulation air button is activated

even though it wasn´t on when stopped.

10% of the time doesn´t do this, go wonder!!!
