Dare I suggest LiverpoolVictoria - subject to your car being bog standard? Their cover is very good.

I am currently insured with them...

elephant.co.uk and asda insurance both very good for me

I tried Churchill and they only want

They don't go through DirectLine! Directline, Tesco Finance, and Privilege are all underwritten by UK Insurance Ltd, and each of them has a different target demographic, eg Tesco favour young drivers, Prilvilege favour performance cars, etc. Whenever I've asked for class 1 business use, it's always been added FOC to my policies (DL and Tesco).....

Found e-sure to be about 100 quid cheaper the DL, so may be worth a try.

Try confused.com. I always check through them when my renewal arrives. This year for the first time they threw up quite a few cheaper than my LV renewal. On investigation only two were potentially better value the rest did not include legal expenses and their AD excesses were at least double LV's

My dad tried saga a few years ago when he turned 50 and was not impressed with their quote. He went with direct line instead.

Saga are a waste of time. My dad insured his car with them a few years back and his renewal premium seemed high. A few phone calls -not on internet then - knocked 30% off the premium with better cover.
