Pair Bluetooth with Bolero on Yeti

Featured Replies

got this bluetooth kit:

VW, Skoda, Seat bluetooth KIT unit with RSAP and UHV, 3C8035730B

installed it on my Skoda Yeti 2010 and plugged it in the Bolero. the bolero recognizes the phone unit and presents the menu.

the maxidot, however shows the radio / media menus as usual, does NOT present any phone related menu,

hence i can not pair the my mobile to the bolero and cant use the phone.

the provider don't know what should i do although recommended this kit for the bolero/Yeti.

1. can i pair the phone from the bolero ? how ? didnt find any option for that.

2. can i do something in specific so the maxidot recognizes the phone as well ?

thanks.

In the octavia manual there's a section for the phone which explains how it works. It's something like the car kit it visable for 3 mins after you switch on the ignition, so you turn on the ignition and then search from the phone. It asks for a pin (the manual says 0000 i think but it was 1234 for the unit i installed - or vice versa) and then it's paired.

After that it should just connect (at least mine did in the octavia), but still won't be in the maxidot. For that you either need to code via VCDS or take to the dealer and get them to do it.

Well, thats what you do on a 2011 Octavia with a Bolero.

Hope you get it sorted
