Dear Skoda and fellow Yeti owners,

I would like to say Hi to all as I have just laid down a deposit on this beauty!!!!

This is the first time I have bought a new car as I have driven Classic VW's all my life such as Beetles, campers, polos and Golfs. I said I would always buy Volkswagen but with our first child on the way and the prospect of Trans European driving twice a year we had to look further afield.

I think we have made a great choice and the wife is also super chuffed as she loved the Yeti since its launch. Its is a 2.0 Diesel in Brilliant silver and as its in the showroom already we could even have it by Monday!!!!!

(right, I would stay longer and chat but we have an antenatal class to get to! See ya!!!!!!!)

Having now seen a Yeti Urban in person and having been quite underwhelmed, I think I see in that last picture what in my eye is the problem; the matterhorns look good, but with the added darkness of the wheel arch extensions, they look a lot smaller than they actually are, the darker colours make it look like there's less space to fill... if i make any sense at all!

I think from the sound of it, the best thing about the Urban is the fact that you seem to be able to get hold of them soon!

But whatever my styling opinions, you have grabbed yourself an excellent car, enjoy, perhaps your win the imaginary prize for being the first to see one on the road!!!
