Selling on behalf of my wife, we have a 2002 1.9 TDI Elegance spec Fabia. We’ve had this car for four years now with four owners previous to us. Car has good service history with all servicing carried out at main dealers or JKM at Portsmouth with the exception of the last oil change about 2000 miles ago, done by me but using oil, filter etc from Skoda parts. Timing belt changed at around 50,000 miles. Utterly reliable during our ownership. Has had 3 new tyres in the past 12 months also.

Current mileage is a touch under 81,000 (see photo). Elegance spec includes electric front windows, heated front seats, height adjust for drivers side, air con (re-gassed in 2010), electric door mirrors, remote central looking and this car has a CD headunit out of a 2004 car which includes an aux lead. The car also had an optional extra electric glass slide and tilt sunroof.

Interior is in good clean order with no damage to fabric and plastics.

Exterior is dark green metallic and is generally in super order with only some light damage to the nearside rear wheel arch, see photo. Body work is free of rust.

The car is MOT’ed until Jan 2013 – one advisory being some corrosion to the rear exhaust box. Taxed to end of June. Mpg remains good with at least 50+ around town and 60 mpg on motorways if driven with consideration.

Car is currently off the road and garaged.

Rear door inner panels have been sealed against water leaks and all door locks operate as when they left the factory. Only down points on electrics is the passenger door mirror heated element appears not to work (adjustment motors work fine) and one element of the rear heated window has failed. Elsewhere the rear parcel shelf has lost its retaining pegs and we are missing one cord to attach the parcel shelf to the boot lid.
