Has anyone done this yet to their fabia? I was just wondering how it would look as my whole boot will be getting some paint shortly and I was wondering if it would look nice with a smaller plate recess etc.

I just google`d "frenched tailgate" load of wonky number plates on smooth tailgates, looks utter crap imo :think:

i was thinking of having my recess shorter to match a us spec number plate and distant future plans would be smooth front bumper

'Frenched' basically means recessed. The wonky ones look utter ****e IMO.

If done right, could potentially look very smart. Potentially.
