Oil re-circulation valve and oil consumption

Featured Replies

Just been reading about this on an audi forum for the 2.0 TFSI, and cited as a major cause of high oil consumption, and carbon build up. Not read much about the latter in these forums, but seems to be an issue with Audi.....

If its the PCV Valve your on about mate ive tried changing it and it made no difference to my two stroke TFSI even tho my valve was broken 'had bits rattling around inside' and the new valve is revised and looks completly different.

could be, the post I read wasn't specific. To be honest, even when you ring TPS or similar, it's clear there are several "names" for the same part. A number is what you need, the automotive world works by part numbers only. I'm not worried anyway, i'm just going to stuff it full of 5W-40 and live with it

im going to change the pcv on my 2006 tfsi after research i have found the latest revision suited to my car is part no 06F-129-101-N. is there any other parts i will need such as gaskets or hoses?

any advice greatly appreciated
