purchased a 04 fabia a month back few problems

Featured Replies

its a 1.9 sdi , first thing is the rear wiper doesnt work at all ive checked and changed the fuse still nothing, the washer or the wiper doesnt work,

second thing i have no reverse light again fuse and bulb checked no good .. any ideas ?

last thing the clutch bite point is quite high.. is this normal ?

thanks

Rear wiper may be a dodgy wiper motor

Reverse light will be the switch on the back of the gearbox, the engine often pulls the wires from the plug

cheers mate any idea how to fix them , will it cost much ?

Clutch bite is very high on our 2000 SDI always has been. A bit worrying for first few weeks, but 50K later nothing has changed. Check there is power to the wiper motor before pulling it apart.

I've got very high bite on my SDI as well and have had for 80,000 miles.

Cheers , sorry new to the car world how do i check if there is power to the motor ?

As neither the rear wash or wipe works I would be suspicious of the switch first. I am not an expert so perhaps one will appear shortly.
