How low can you go?

Recommended Posts

I've currently got H&R Comfort Cup Kit on my vRS but I don't think it lowers it enough really,

Just wondering does anybody know can I use any other springs with the H&R shocks to get lower?

I don't really want to go the coilover route as the roads around here are terrible!

Also pictures would be nice......

From what I'd read on the comfort kit some time ago, I'd been under the impression it comes with -35mm springs, so on a vrs (ie a car that's already -15 vs. a stock octavia) it would give you a 20mm drop only.

H&R do also make some springs that they advertise as -50mm, so based on the same logic that would give your vrs a -35mm drop which. IMO -35mm is the perfect height for a vRS - that's where mine has been for the last couple of years..

You could ask H&R if their -50mm springs would be ok with your existing dampers?

More recently I came across a site advertising the comfort kit with a -45 to -50 drop so either there are two different comfort kits at different heights, or maybe they've changed the kit since you bought it?
