Toot..........

Featured Replies

Coming to work this morning I "tooted" a collegue and noted that my horn seems to have gone all "butch" and deep.

Now I'm sure that before it seemed to have a dual tone (we singists notice these things, you know) so I am thinking that the "treble" horn has stopped for some reason. Thinking about it I'm not sure if it has tooted properly since I had the car repaired, so can anyone tell me whether I do have two "tooters" and whereabouts are they?

Funnily enough I saw some twin hi/lo Skoda horns on eBay so it's quite possible they're fitted on the Yeti, and your hi-tone has gone, or lost power for some reason. Can't check ours as it's at Mrs G's work. Comes from having a young(er) wife who still works :giggle:

And I admit - I'm completely shameless

Thought yours would have sounded welsh, Llanni

Beep the horn and it says " Boy Yo"

I know some young women with fine pairs of tooters. I think it's pretty obvious where they are. Corner?

Immediately :giggle:

Sorry Graham, she's out with the car - again

Graham, Ivor does indeed have 'twin' horns and they are VERY loud. :p

At the risk of going back to the corner ... big tooters give me the horn.

BOD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

Awwwww, come on, I'm only saying what the rest of you are thinking.

But we like sending you to the corner, its for your own good keeps you fit

Graham, getting back to the disappearance of your hi-tone, just checked our car, and despite the acres of space in the 1.2 petrol compartment, I cannot see one horn, never mind a dual fitting. I'm presuming a traditional horn or horns is fitted and the sound isn't some kind of computer generated thing :(

The diesel might be totally different anyway of course. Hope you solve the mystery.

"...behind the bumper..."

DOH !

Good find !

From the other thread, I'm going to leave it to the dealer on the next service.
