carbon grille transfer - group buy!

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have been down and spoken to the guys at wicked coating today about having my grille done in carbon. Whilst down there and discussing price I asked about a group buy in. The chap said if I could get enough people interested then would could be looking at some good discounts.

The offer...

This offer is to have your grille transformed from the horrid chrome in to beautiful GLOSS carbon.

Prices start at £50 but go down the more we get involved.

The process...

The grille is painted then dipped, not wrapped in a carbon effect so it covers the whole grille perfectly. After it has dried it is lacquered and buffed to a high gloss finish. This process makes the carbon look incredibly real and looks nice than the matte vinyl

What you need to do...

The grille will need to be stripped of its chrome, smoothed and primed. Once done, send it in the post to wicked coatings. Then wait..

So to take advantage of this just place your name below and I can start the ball rolling on the discounts .

Other items can be done, but because all octy grilles are the same shape and style it is easier for them to offer a discount on one shape at a time.

Mods: please leave put, currently for octy mk1s only.

It does have that option but the transfer is plastic based from what I understand so it should be able to take a stone and the lacquer with just need touching up.

Best thing for stone chips and no prep work / skill req is plati-dip :)

Does it come in carbon though...

You don't have to do the prep work if you don't want to, but it will cost you more.

hhmmm... so it seems that with modern technology you CAN buy stripey paint! there goes one of the new lad on the building site jokes. Hope nobody actually does come up with a skirting board ladder ;-)

It does look good in fairness, but when i do get the time, and weather, id be more inclined to invest in some plastidip, and do all me rub strips and grills so they all match nicely..

Still a very good offer though :-)
