Hi folks,

Well, i personally have never saw a MK2 with a LCR splitter fitted, sooooooo i thought id give it a bash.

Original plan was to remove the rubber "standard splitter" but after fitting it up, thought id keep it as it changed the look again.

Needless to say, I'm happy with the results so far, few more odds n sods to go

A couple of wee things have been done to the car so far, LCR splitter, HID's, LED bulbs (thanks Mr. B ) Green panel filter and the air box modified.

To be done very soon are, Calipers to be cleaned up and painted, catch tank to be fitted, sheilded induction being worked on, spacers to be fitted, exhaust getting done end of the month and HOPEFULLY the remap will be done then as well.

Yeah, time was right for it to go, needed the timing belt, water pump, service and tax all in a one go :( kinda miss it, but this wee thing is a pi$$ laugh lol ma wee "half a V6 turbo" lol

Ahhh 3 cylinder like my polo was......whap an intake on it and itl sound fantastic

Had 3 different versions on it so far lol

Looks great! Far better than the vRS ones ive seen

Cheers buddy thought about doin a vRS front end, but she ain't no vRS so didn't see the point lol

Thanks for the comments guys! if anyone is interested I can take some shots of how its positioned underneath as its not flush to the original "splitter"

You do need to chop some of the LCR splitter off, a good bit more than if you were fitting one to a mk1 vRS

Yeah that'd be great. It's a great cheap that doesn't look to over the top.

Will get some taken tomorrow, been a bit busy modifying stu_mcl's vRS with a nice wee BMC CDA as well as remapping mine lol

After quite alot off bending, it did look okay on my vRS aswell... 1 year ago .

Removed it since I lowered the car + that I drive over alot off speedbumps.

Scraping would be an issue :/!
