So today saw the dawn of a new era. Lloyd finally putting some miles on his beloved Octy. Up at 5 and in Kent by 0845 wonders will never cease!

Here he is having just arrived after his epic 160 mile journey.

So after a quick coffee and a chat and a lovely pressie that Lloyd had purchased for my wife it was time to venture over to Adams for Lloyds smurf coloured engine part transplant.

So a two Octy convoy ensued.

We arrived at Adams where there are more Skodas than you can shake a stick at.

Once the introductions were out of the way. Adam got to work on Lloyds car. While Lloyd installed my new Pioneer double din HU in my octy ( pics in my build thread )

No real problems apart from the fact that the powder coater didn't mask a few holes. And after some time while I chatted and Lloyd worried and Adam did mechanic stuff. The Smurf blue parts were fitted.

it was indeed a fun filled day!

Engine bay is almost done

Then just a few braided bits and a induction adjust of sorts and i beleve i can call it time under there

But then theres alway steering and bushes wu ha ha ha

Not to mention brakes and gearbox jimmy joes
