Doesn't give too much information away on the actual MY13 changes. I'm trying to get information on the MY13 Octavia VRS to see if there's anything different. Just off the phone to my dealer and they don't seem to have any information just yet.

Some info - Scout orders now stopped as all planned build is fully taken. New one will be Jan 2014, following new Octavia in spring 2013.

Does this really mean no Octavia Scouts for two years? It seems to be a very long time to have a hole in the model range.

Speaking to a salesman at the local dealer on Wednesday, as I was intrigued to see two new Scouts in the showroom for sale; he indicated that they the dealer had been surprised to get them and that they would probably not get anymore, unless it was an outstanding customer order as you could no longer place an order for one.

Probably yes, because production of the new Octavia will start at the end of this year.

Any info on the new model? I haven't been hanging out in the Octavia forum much.

Do they normally start making the Scout models at the beginning of new production or can we expect a decent delay?
