Those are correct, Patrick the french guy muddied the waters by wrongly saying, 1ST 853 601A AUL front AND rear for the Octy and Fabia

Hi,

I have no Octavia , but only Superb and Fabia 2 FL.

And I'm sure for for Superb it is 2 x logo 1ST 853 630 A AUL / Fabia 2 x logo 1ST 853 601 A AUL.

For Fabia, you absolut must ordered 2 convex 1ST 853 601 A AUL, because rear must be convex too, to take exactly the shape of the rear trunk.

(As new logo is little more biggest)

And as the original rear logo on Fabia 2 and Octavia have same part number , and it is convex too.

So I thought it will be the same for new logo on Octavia

But rear trunk on Octavia must be most plat as Fabia.

Thanks for that Patrick, I bought both the 601 but the 630 fits better and flush on the rear

Does anyone know of any suppliers selling these new badges online? I am keen on ordering some as the supplier in my country can't even find it on their inventory list! Thanks in advance.

I attempted to buy a second set of these badges on Monday from my local dealership for somebody here (I now have my set fitted). The dealership told me they are now on long-term back-order with no ETA.

Appears there have been loads of requests for them, people just driving into the dealerships to pick them up off the shelf.

SO I think they are in rather short supply at the moment.

Some new usefull info:

Found both front and rear favorit badges and ordered them.

But important info about Rapid and Citigo badges.

Rapid has the same front and rear, and has the adhesive tape on whole back side with three plugs instead of two as old badges had

Citigo ones if convex on the front and flat on the back.

For Octy I owners as I am front on for the front and back because old one was convex and used for the front and rear

Citigo ones also have adhesive tape only as outer ring:

what makes it more prone for dismantling for those who wants to put some more style and effect on that rough black plastic.

and instead of thre plugs it has three holes for bolts to fix it on Citigo or to new front grile as I have for ilustration:

Now I have Rapid one and am waiting for 2 front and one rear from Citigo and front and rear from Favorit and than we will play a little

Citigo with only outter ring of adhesive so badge can be easier disasembled.

Those three pins can be removed very easy. Just twist them and pull out.
