help needed with ignigition

Can some one point me in the right direction.

I am going to be fitting a nokia bluetooth unit (which i got for free from work) to the car at some point over the bank holiday weekend and need to connect a wire to the the ignigtion can any anyone tell where the best place is to find the wire (pictures would be good)

To connect to a switched live you can insert a spade crimp connector into (position 8?) a free spur of the fusebox. Provided the wire is fused then it will be fine. Alternatively, if you want to do it correctly, remove the fusebox and add a repair wire (available from the dealers) to a switched live position.

Hey guys, Sadly it's looking like my Octavia days which have been pretty brilliant could be at an end, unless I can find a replacement engine. Looking like a blown head gasket/cracked/warped head so it's not driveable now and boiling away (95C+ even without the thermostat in). It's also had a burning engine oil issue for years. It's a 110 ASV engine. So my options are: Say goodbye to my brilliant Octavia ☹️ Try and find a replacement engine, throw it in and hope. Downsides are obviously the

My new 2026 Škoda Superb L&K was delivered with the driver’s seat looking like this (see attached photos). The wrinkle/crease on the seat base was already there when I picked up the car. I initially assumed it would disappear after a while, but it has remained exactly the same. Hi everyone. First off, apologies if this has already been covered. I did take a look but couldn't find anything specific. For history, it's a 13 plate TDI vrs Octavia (MK2) was rattling like a good un' so replaced clutch and flywheel (and slave cylinder) did do a SMFW conversion too. Turns out, that WAS a problem, but the gearbox is also shot, so that's on my list to replace next. Started and drove home fine that night. Next day, I drove it to work (about 20 minutes) no problems. Dear Forum I'm looking about for a new-to-me Scout in the UK, and am surprised to see that some of the later (2018/19) DSG Scouts are advertised as having the 148/150hp engines. I had been under the impression that UK Scouts were either 150hp manual or 184hp DSG - but that seems not necessarily to be so. Does anyone know whether there are indeed 150hp DSG vehicle about - or have these simply been inadvertently misdescribed by the vendors? Many thanks in advance for any thoughts.
