Hi all,

pretty new to vcds. Am at work and colleague says she has a brake warning light that won't go away. It's in the centre of the dash. An orange circlewith three dashes wrapped around the left and right edges. Her mechanic has checked pads disks and fluid level.

VCDS says no fault on module3 abs, obdII has no fault codes.But I only got my vcds yesterdaySo not sure if I should be looking anywhere else?

At work 'till 1am so any suggestions or thoughts gratefully received.

I'll take a bit of a guess here as to the vehicle, as I have just moved this from the Fabia project journals section.

The warning light description sounds like the one for low brake pads, don't think I've seen a Fabia 1 with brake pad warning. It could be a dodgy connection if it's fitted or the dash panel coding could be wrong.

this is going to sound stupid so feel free to disregard it if you want.

but try another key. I get an abs warning light with no dtc's when I use the backup key. works fine with the the normal key though. I'm starting to think the abs light doubles as a immo warning light....
