Having found rainsport 2s for £66 a corner or £84 a corner fitted I'm now pondering tyre fitting prices.

The local "usual suspects" tyre places seem to charge £18-£20+ a corner for "fitting inc valve inc balancing".

If I could get them fitted for £10 a corner or even <£15 a corner I'd be happier.

Can someone recommend a tyre fitter who's good but more reasonably priced? In the Maidenhead/Marlow/Beaconsfield/High Wycombe/Slough "zone".

I recently (wednesday) got a pair of Pradas & found the same thing. I just got them from a local tyre specialist, for the sake of £5-£10 saving it was too much effort in my case, getting tyres delivered when someone is in/collecting them, then as you have found no one wants to fit them if they havent supplied them so prices have gone from £10 a wheel to £15+ a wheel in recent times to discourage getting them online I guess. Sorry thats no help to you! Best places to try for cheap fitting is little back street places that`ll do a deal for cash.

I think I'll do a little digging around locally. Incidentally, the £66 a corner is with Camskill. The £84 with "Bestbuytyres" which translates to Merityre in Marlow - Chiltern Tyres. Chiltern wanted £100+ for Rainsport 2s fitted "off the shelf".
