Tvr Sagaris

Featured Replies

I dont rant on like this a lot but sweet jesus and mother of mercy i LOVE THIS CAR!!!!

Saw pics of it a few days ago in a mag on the shelf in local shop and cant stop thinking about it!

I love TVR! They make raw, uncomprimising, mental cars with hardly ANY practicality but i love how they stick to their guns and are nuttier than an 80metre nut cake!

I saw this car some time ago in concept form and we all know when concept cars become reality they are hardly like the original sketches. THIS is a completely different thing! Its pretty much exact to how it was meant to be! Aggressive, FAST, and just fantastic.

People looking for economy please avert your eyes now:-

* 0-60 in 3.7 secs :eek:

* 0-100 in 8.1 secs :eek:

* Top speed 195mph :eek:

* 4 Litre lump producing 400 bhp!!! :cool::D:thumbup: :eek:

Anyway ill stop now and leave you with these bootiful pics!!!

Enjoy

Did you see them on 5th gear this week?

Bits were falling off as they drove round the track :D

Still , I'd be tempted to buy one if I won the lottery

From the front it's outstanding!

I just don't like the rear! Can't get used to the sideways exhausts or the hideous spoiler.

If you want reliability and build quality, you'd buy a Honda.

If you want a loud, aggressive adrenalin pumping car, buy a TVR. But when budgeting, allow for more than the purchase price!

Apparently build quality and reliability have both improved massivley since the russian bloke took over. You even get a 3 year warranty on new cars now.

I forgot to mentio also that OTR price including all the options i could throw at it (from official TVR website) I could only get the car up to

Can I have one with the Steering wheel on the left by any chance ?

Looks like made to chase sportbikes around the hills :thumbup:

It's a fabulous car - I've lusted after since it was announced last year. Reviewed in Top Gear Mag this month and they love it. The first TVR that won't spit you into the hedge with no warning apparently - and spits fire from the exhausts in traffic :D

I already have my route planned to TVR Henley for the morning after my lottery win.

It's nearly worth buying one just to listen to it :D

*drool* I'm a TVR lover who cars if they fall apart, just look at it!! Listen too it................if it was a woman it would be..............urm my kim of course :o

Yes it is a really nice car, shame about the enigne reliability, my neighbour accross the road has the more reliable Griffin, although hers is in the garage for a respray they gave her a Tucon which iirc uses the same engine as the Sagris, and is not the V8. 5litres enignes and petrol stations galore :)

They're the bits I like the best, I think they add to the overly mental styling, amazing looking/ sounding car, although suppose I would settle for a tuscan if I really had to (I'd be reeeeallllllly gutted) :thumbup:

They use the straight-six - reliability is quite a bit better with the engine now, certainly those people I know who have/had these have never been left stranded by them.

As for economy...it's not as bad as most people would think. Yes, it's a fairly large engine, but TVRs are very light - on a motorway cruise 30mpg would be fairly attainable...

Rob.

Well, my other car is a TVR, and I absolutely love them. I had mine built for me 9 years ago, and nothings fallen off, nothing ever goes wrong, it just eats tyres and drinks fuel at a massive rate, and its worth it all.

I've worked out that for every
