Welcome to Briskoda!

For specific modifications, you are best putting a post in the Octavia MK1 section of the forum detailing what you want and somebody will be along to help.

Hi & welcome, as per EM, but I'd add what you want to achieve.

The list is long, better cornering, straight line, more umph for your bass and so on :)

I miss my mk1 rs a lot, it's a great platform, have fun.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best, most cost effective modification you can make is to get it remapped. I've just had mine mapped from 180bhp to a claimed 212bhp, (it certainly feels like 212bhp!), with an increase in torque of 65nm.................. it TRANSFORMS the standard VRS Mk1's performance.

Everything else like air filters and stanless steel exhausts just add the odd bhp here and there but the remap is a game changer. :)

As the Cobra Kai gentleman above said, you'll get more specific advice in the Octavia Mk1 forum section. :)

Bang a sports cat on and map it. The turbo wont half be able to breath and feel the torque difference then. Plenty fun !
