Hey all, my skoda has started knocking at the front and i have found movement in my front roll bar bushes the car is a 2002 octavia vrs.

i have done a few searches and all i have found is differnt sizes. What is the size i need? 17mm? 19mm? i do know that my wee plastic sleves have broken because this is the reason why they are knocking only half of them are sitting on the bar any help is much appricated.

Or R32 front ARB and Neuspeed 28mm rear ARB. If a jobs worth doing and all that !

if you want an upgrade i'd agree

but for the sake of curing a bit of knocking

£5 plus 1hr fitting for bushes

or

£300+ and several hours fitting for uprated arbs

i know which i'd choose...

the anti roll bar is 19mm so fit 19mm bushes if you still have a sleave then you need 21mm bushes!!

As said above, the bar is 19mm, so fit 19mm bushes. I know, i've done it twice before fitting the R32 FARB.

Err just checked and you're totally right m8, 21mm with sleeves 19mm without, theres only 2 sizes listed for the Vrs

Mine has 17mm bushes and is just fine.

When I did mine on my vRS a few years ago, TPS offered two sizes, 19mm if plastic sleeve was intact, and 17 mm if sleeve was removed. Also the consensus on here, at that time, was that 17mm was correct if sleeve was removed. The 17 mm ones fitted perfectly, with the broken sleeve removed, but if some have fitted 19 mm ones, and they are not loose,maybe there ain't much in it.

suppose going 2mm smaller won't make much difference with the bush being slightly open but compressed with the clamps
