Load rating/Toyo T1-R

Featured Replies

I have my new 16 inch wheels ready to go on the Fabia, they are et35 7j.

Looking at buying a set of Toyo T1-R tyres, But they are 80V? So by fitting these, won't my car fail an MOT and also invalidate my insurance?

Cheers

Dave

dont fit them!

they are a good tyre for grip etc but are as soft as butter

try falken452 they seem to last longer with just as good grip

I'm still not 100% sure on which brand/there yet, I'm just concerned s out load and speed ratings? How go people get away with having stretch by fitting a smaller tyre, with less load and speed ratings?

Cheers

Dave

Dunno why but seeing a car with stretched tyres that just fit under the wheel arches always reminds me of the hamlet advert with the mini that goes though the gateway leaving the wheels behind lol

Anyone?

You never really want to go lower on the speed and load rating as will prob mean invalid insurance in case of accident. If you want a stretch look try and find an extra load tyre in the size you want as they should hopefully have the right load and speed rating
