VRS gloss black inserts

Featured Replies

Another question for you Nick! Did you order the parts from Skoda or did you find a L&K being broken?

Nick where did you have your interior parts painted? My local spray shop tried to paint the basic black Columbus radio surround (from a Scout £5.52 from Skoda dealer) for my vRS and made a right mess. They had used automotive car paint and it was so bad they didn't charge me. Yours looks factory.

Thanks. It really does look perfect. Dave at Deepcar Autobodies did it for me. He's ace.

Unlikely as it might sound, I swapped my silver ones with an L&K owner! You can buy the dash parts from Skoda but I'm pretty certain you can't buy the door ones separately. Easiest option would be to do it all with gloss black wrap. I just thought it would be cool to do it with oem parts.

Anyone got enough gloss black wrap left over for the stereo surround they can chuck in the post to me? Been toying with the idea of doing this for a while now as it's the only sensible bit of my L&K surround that isn't gloss but not worth buying a large sheet for just that small part.

You can buy small sheets on eBay for a couple of quid.
