Can anybody help, please? The EGR valve on my Octavia 2.0l PD 140 has started to make an awful whirring and clicking noise. It starts when you switch on the ignition and only stops 10 secs after it is turned off. The car is an 08 estate with 115k miles. Any ideas would be appreciated.

no actual experience but it's prob'ly shot there is a seal which goes and it fills with oil if not been happening too long may be repairable--- do a search --also seat vw and audi sites
