na to much for a FWD imo. had over 300bhp on a b5 audi a4 and that was stupid. i agree with others that you need to drop it on a 4x4 chassis. If you asking that sort of money to i would suggest you put it on a a3 quattro or a 4mo etc etc. . If we like it or not, Skodas still get ripped for the name, people are nieve (spelling) and stupid when it comes to cars and would not buy a car because of the badge.

To be fair i not botherd what its cost i brought the ?ar cheap the previous owner spent close to 30k over time Ive added a few mo?e k but cost is irrelavant.

300 bhp derv is no comparison imo

I know a good few people running 400bhp to 500+ in fwd cars and its awesome its all about understanding how to mód the ?ar to put the power down 4x4 is boring !!!! Ive had high hp scoobys and i got bored !!!!

Remember this has had massive amounts of work on suspension chassis brakes and will be mapped by the best with power and torque curves for each gear ;-)

Also if i wanted a 4x4 i would just buy an EVO ;-)

The ?ar is s toy to m? it will have plenty of traction, plenty of power and tons of fun

So please no more pošta about its not worth it etc etc as most of the time most dont have a clue. Thats why most pay companys to do all there work ;-)

if you know what you are doing, you can put the power down with a fwd car, the old car could, i went in it, you just dial the boost down a bit, and drive accordingly.

indeed i too know plenty of people running massive power in a FWD. my pals Corrado VR6 Turbo..

over 500 bhp, clever Diff, this that EVERYTHING you can think of, no expense spared. i detailed the day before his PVW shoot last year. Stunning car. he loves it.. and wishes he had 4x4 so he can chase even more power.

1 other thing.. The torque on a jases 300bhp derv must of been epic... it the torque that makes a FWD (infact anycar) a beast so i would not knock it to much. Scoobys are fun if you know how to drive them... mine just touched 402bhp and that thing was fun as you like! Well done on your project and having lots of money to spunk. hope you one day learn to take other peoples opinions on things without throwing up the defences

yup was out with a 340 brake mk2 golf the other night, no problems with traction, just need the right diff/atb.

4x4 is for those who cant drive a fwd car properly...fact!
