Doing the heater matrix on mine.

How much water does the cooling system hold please and how much G12 will need.

Also any tips on bleeding the cooling system

Dunno about the rest but I was told it needed 2 bottles of g12

Drain tap is on the pipe going into the rad near the horns but I took the thermostat out when I did mine that way you can check the stat and flush the block and rad seperately

It holds a little under 7l. Two bottles of G12 is 3l which gives a concentration 40+% which is well within the acceptable range.

Might be worth putting a new stat it, just had to change mine due to it sticking open.

They are known for failing and it is a lot of work to replace.

Hmmm, you reckon its corroded? Was/is your coolant crystal clear?
