Ferrari coming back to the pack

Featured Replies

Ferrari have just issued a recall for two (2) individual cars sold in Australia (date sold not disclosed) due to suspected faulty machining of the camshaft that may cause engine failure.

Doesn't just happen to our run of the mill cars!! Bet the guys who paid hundreds of thousands of $$$ will be p*#%$ off!!

Why would they be pi$$ed off?

I can't imagine the cars are daily drivers, so i wouldn't imagine its much of a hassle. I wouldn't be supprised if Ferrari arranged to pick up, fix, and return the cars, so there was absolutely no hassle to the customer.

And they probably get a free engine check and service etc as part of the service, which will save them a bit of time when they can't use their car when the sun is out.

I heard that Ferrari is now doing 5yr free servicing with new cars. even for Ferrari owners that's going to save a bit lump.
