Well I have an iPhone and trying to charge it with an approved charger by the cig lighter.

The light shows it's got power to the charger but won't charge the phone, cig lighter definately works as it charges the sat nav with no problems.

Any ideas and has anyone else found this?

Sounds like a dodgy charger. I assume the ipPhone charges off a mains charger, if it doesn't, it's the phone.

Could be an old style charger as they changed the outputs on the connector on the iPhone around 3GS time. A charger for the model phone you have should be a good bet.

Worked up until about 2 weeks ago and now won't charge at all :/

No idea why, replaced adapter twice and still no charging although lights showing on adapter...

I'm starting to wonder of this relates to the latest IOS update?

Can you detach the lead from the charger. Sounds like a bad I phone lead.

That is very strange, I doubt its faulty hardware after 4 leads and 2 chargers.

I take it it's the iOS update :( tried it in 3 separate cars and with my sisters 4S and still isn't working :(

Feel bad because I contacted the seller before I realised it was software related and he's kindly sent me another one! :/
