Just thought I'd pop on and say hello! I (well the wife and I!) have just become the proud owners of a Black 08 vRS TFSI estate.

I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys and girls and picking up some tips and tricks :)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Nice to see so many people close by (Living at North Shields at the moment) will be nice to meet up at some point.

Loving the car, it's been a while since I've had somthing could be classed as 'Hot'! Just need to the time to get the rotary out and get the paint looking how it should.

The 2.0 TFSI is a lovely motor as standard, but becomes scaldingly hot when remapped!

My brother-in-law has that engine in an Audi A4 and recently got it remapped (a place in Boldon) and it's a very fast car now, but returning 4 mpg more. :)

    Yep, it was. :) .... I've had 2 x Golfs and 1 x Bora remapped there and always had a good service and fantastic results. Not had a petrol car remapped there as I use somewhere more local now but sure you'll get good results and service. :thumbup:
