Well it was rather notchy just didnt feel smooth like i wanted it to 3rd gear was the worst

So what ive done today is i took the gear gator off cleaned all the dirt out of the gear lever and greased it up, then i greased up the selector end at the gearbox and followed the gear selector reset video on ebay

Results - a lot smoother through all the gears but going into 3rd theres still a prominent 'notchy' feel

Next step is gear oil change - which i couldnt do today as vag have decided to use different plugs throughout the range and the one i have used for previous vw's doesnt fit!

Question is when i do change the gear oil will i be happy?
