I finally got round to fitting my oil pressure sender for the gauge ive had wired up in the car for weeks now! I Bought a 1.8t Specific kit from Demon tweeks. After carefully PTFE`ing up all the threads and fitting it all it ticked over perfect, no leaks i thought sweet.

reved the car over 2k and the oil light would flash and the gauge is reading 0.0psi. I ripped it all off again, refitted and still got the same result. Oil was getting through as there was oil in the braided pipe and in the block at the end with the senders in it. i can only assume the bore of the pipe is wrong to uphold correct pressure to give the senders a reading??

I removed the kit and refitted the OEM sender and everything was sweet. Un-defeated i tried it without the braided line with the T block straight into the filter housing and everything works perfectly.

any ideas why it did not work with the relocation line?

Badly made line with a kink in it?? Or maybe as you said wrong diamiter

Or your pick up pipe is gunged up and isn't letting sufficiant oil through??

oil pressures fine so i think the pick ups ok.. (thats on the next top 3 of things to do) its got to be the pipe i think. possibly an air lock but there was oil on the sender end so dunno..

its all working fine now i thought id just bring it to peoples attention to watch out.
