Well I gotta a spare N75 off an AGU golf(IIRC) block and a fuel filter is cheap enough, theres something bugging me about the FF though, I'm sure theres something to watch for when fitting :giggle:

NOOOOOOOO not again please = anything but that

Think it was

THE CLIPS ON THE FUEL FILTER ARE VERY DELICATE, SO BE VERY CAREFUL!

:p

Sent from my GT-I9100. Not a Crapple!

Let`s open a poll...

I bet it`s a fuel pump :bandit: or a really clogged fuel filter but i highly doubt it :drunk:

Look what happens at 12s, boost drops because pump can`t keep up with demand

Btw, this is stage 1 map.

Mine is nothing like that, thats gradual, mines instant drop down then creeping back up.

I thought as much, I spend all day looking at it, but don't pay that much attetion to what it does on idle lol

Mines sat around - 28, so does this mean a vac leak ??

I got no codes, but over 5k it's crapping out the boost so I think something is leaking

Vacuum sounds perfectly normal to me Dave.

Mine sits at about 26InHg at a hot idle. Always has done. The only time this reduced was when I had an epic vacuum leak. I replaced the entire breather system (hard plastic elbow, o-ring, one-way valve, PCV, hoses, pipes) for OE Skoda bits, and it came back to the correct vacuum reading again.

I have zero running issues. I was under the impression that 25InHg was pefect for this engine, anything less indicates a leak. It might be in my Skoda workshop manual somewhere, so I'll have a look.

Unfortunately I didn`t make a video when boost jumps around. Example; drops down and back up and down and so on ...

Be careful with the clips

As a I said, fuel system problem :)

Hmmmm maybe not

After a few weeks it's still the same except the drop has moved higher up the revs to about 5k

fuel trims are around -6 each

I'm still thinking boost leak, although I did unplug the maf for the day and mpg shot up and the car is noticebly smoother all round.

Didn't get chance to take to the redline, so not sure what happens with it unplugged.

Is it possible the maf could be on it's way out, it's done 141k.
