Alternator belt kit.

Featured Replies

Wanting to change the auxiliary belt and have seen these 'kits'. The place selling them do just the belt for circa £15 but I wouldn't mind changing the tensioner (or at least the pulley) at the same time (from my time as a Vectra V6 owner it was not unknown for a new belt to finish off the bearing in an old tensioner pulley). They do a kit for £39 and then this one for £53.

Anyone bought one or know if one has just a new pulley and belt and the other a whole new tensioner and belt? I did email the company but as yet haven't had a reply.

Took the plunge anyway, bought it and it's as I suspected. The £53 kit comes with an Auxiliary and whole new tensioner.
